Iran, a victim of terrorism

Terror is not an emerging phenomenon. History is full of terrorist acts that have taken many innocent lives and endangered the lives, deprived people of their human rights, put the friendly relations between the governments at risk as well as thrown territorial integrity and security of states into jeopardy. Today, terrorism is not confined to national boundaries and considered as an international threat (at least in world’s public opinions). The International organizations including the United Nations have undertaken various activities in this regard so that there are currently 13 major conventions and protocols to deal with the fight against terrorism.
